Serendipity -when things turn out well by chance, accidentally making positive discoveries along the journey.

Fika (Swedish)- a moment to slow down & appreciate life’s blessings

Wanderlust– a strong desire to travel & keep on exploring

Hygge(Danish)warm & cosy feelings from simple pleasures
Sehnsucht – wistful yearning from travelling in the past & trips planned in the future
Eudamania -contented happy & healthy state when we travel
Tripetite-eating more than usual when on holiday
Resfeber-tangled feelings of restlessness, fear & excitement before a journey
Shirin-yoku (Japanese)-literally forest bathing- immersing yourself in the atmosphere of the woods, maybe even tree-hugging (!)
Earthing AKA Grounding– walking barefoot on to feel closer to nature- kicking off your shoes to walk on fresh cut grass or sandy shores
Saudade– feeling of longing & nostalgia
Waldeinsamkeir (German)- a feeling of solitude in the woods
